After a fantastic few days exploring Grand Teton National Park it was time to move on and north to Yellowstone National Park. To help with the drive we grabbed some Cowboy Coffee and hit the road nice and early.

One thing we had not counted on was the drop in temperature and the amount of snow still around in Late May/June. Snow was piled high along the sides of the highway and some of the lakes were still all frozen over. At this point we were pleased we had decided to upgrade our Tent pitch to a Cabin at the West Yellowstone KOA.

The drive is really beautiful and it was nice to watch the scenery and terrain change outside the window. From what we have seen so far our time in Yellowstone is going to be great.
