A1: There are four types of documents that are required for Maldives visa.
1. Return flight tickets
2. Hotel vouchers
3. Two passport size photographs, and finally, A passport with a minimum expiry of six months from the date of return.

A2: There is no requirement for vaccination for Maldives Travel as of today. If anyone is travelling to the Maldives, they’re required to mandatory fill the online health declaration form called as the IMUGAA form, both on their onward and return journey. There is no testing requirement upon arrival in Maldives as of today, and please note that masks might be mandatory in some public areas 

A3: USD is the most commonly accepted currency in Maldives. An average expenditure will be between 50 and 70 US dollars per day depending upon the inclusions you have, if you’re going to do water sports, prices may vary accordingly. USD the exchange rates are very expensive and high in the Maldives, so we always recommend exchanging them in your departure city. Now, when it comes to the phone carrier Dhiraagu and Ooredoo or two top phone operators in the Maldives and the SIM cards can be purchased in the Maldives airport. The basic plan will start at 25 US dollars, which will include your call messaging and data. 

A4: Once you have deboarded your flight and collected the luggage, and you come out of the airport this is how your arrival hall look in Maldives.

A5: There are two types of transfer location in Maldives. 
1. Is the arrivals hall, which you saw in the previous question.
2. Is the resort counter, which is specific to each resort.

A6: Once you have installed and logged into your Pickyourtrail app, go to the voucher section. You will see an option which says View voucher. Once you click on it, you will be able to see your booking voucher for your vacation to Maldives.

A7: There are three types of transfers in the Maldives.

3. A domestic flight, the type of transfer it is decided upon the distance of the resort from the airport. Please note that the average waiting time could be anywhere between two and four hours depending upon the other guests coming from different flights and travelling to the same resort. Please note that if you’re travelling on a seaplane, you must ensure that your flight lands into the Maldives on or before 3:30 PM because the last seaplane departs from Male Airport at 4:00 PM.

A8: The standard check-in time in Maldives could be between 2 to 3:00 PM and the standard checkout time in Maldives could be between 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM depending upon each resort. You can check this check-in checkout time accurately on your booking voucher.

A9: There are three types of meal options available in Maldives
1. Half board, which includes your breakfast and one other meal of the day.
2. Full board, which includes your breakfast, lunch, and dinner and finally, all inclusive plan, which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

A10: There are two types of water sports activities available in Maldives. One is motorized and other is the non-motorized activities. Once you have reached safely to the resort and checked in, please reach out to the resort counter. At the reception, they will be able to give you a brochure of all water sports activities available with them along with the cost.
