Experience the Trekking in Himalaya : Roopkund

Most of travelers ask about best things to do on Roopkund Lake,Best Time to Visit,Way of Roopkund ??
So,I would like to answer all question in my following post...

Roopkund is a mountain Lake, lying in the Garhwal Himalayas in the Chamoli region of the Indian condition of Uttarakhand.Situated at a high height, the lake stays solidified just about consistently. Roopkund is likewise called the 'Secret Lake', or the 'Skeletal Lake', by virtue of the few hundred human skeletons discovered scattered in and around the lake. The Bugyals are dotted with small and big lakes at intervals. The pure air, the poignant greens and the effervescent blues will make you forget all your troubles. Next is the summit stretch, where your stamina will be tested as the air gets thinner and thinner. At the end of the climb lies the coveted Roopkund, frozen, serene, and pristine. Near the lake you can still find lots of skeletons, which have been well preserved because of the cold after all these centuries. From here, you can spot a lot of other peaks – Trishul, Nandaghungti and Choukhamba.
Different View of Roopkund Lake :

There are two time windows in a year when you can do this trek – once after winter from mid-May to mid-June, and once post storm amid September and October.
You can achieve Kathgodam through a standout amongst the most renowned trains achieving the destination, which is the Ranikhet express.
Otherwise you can take Sampark Kranti from Old Delhi, which leaves at 4 pm.Tickets on the Sampark Kranti are usually easy to get as it is a day seating train.Stay overnight in a hotel at Kathgodam (or Haldwani) and join the team vehicle the next morning.KMVN Kathgodam is a good place to halt for the night
KMVN is Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, a government tourist guest house right next to the railway station. The place is decent and clean. You can book online athttp://www.kmvn.gov.in/
Second option :
Take an overnight bus from Delhi’s Anand Vihar ISBT to Haldwani/Kathgodam (7 kms apart)Volvo buses leave Anand Vihar for Haldwani/Kathgodam around 9 pm. It is usually an 8 hour journey.
There is no online booking, so arrive a couple of hours early at Anand Vihar to book your tickets. No advanced reservation is required.Try to get to Kathgodam early (by 6 am) to catch the Indiahikes pickup at the station.
When you reach here, you would begin feeling an adjustment in the whole environment. The Roopkund trek has its beginning stage from here.
