Especially when it comes to travel as it is a part of that special moment in time where you let all the things go and focus on the next few days, weeks or years, and before you read ahead, NO these are not travel themed songs. They are beautiful songs here to ignite that "Journey" feeling. So you can put your shut up and drive by Rihanna in your pipe and smoke it.

Here are some of our favourite songs for when you are on the move. 

1. LEON BRIDGES- COMING HOME

This song is featured in our upcoming wedding and definitely pulls on the heartstrings. The soulful melody lead by Leon is lulled by soothing vocals and reminiscent of artists such as Sam Cooke, Etta James and Otis Redding. 

2. MATT CORBY- SOOTH LADY WINE 

Matt Corby is an obvious choice as he is, in our opinion unmatched by any male vocalist within the indie artist realm. His lyrics are captivating and will move you deeply. Though all of his songs are worth a listen, this one in particular showcases his new direction for his Album; Telluric.

3. PAOLO NUTINI- LET ME DOWN EASY

Backing vocal infused emotion spilling soul rock. Need we say more? 

4. CONNIE CONSTANCE- ANSWER

I was bowled over by this London based beauty's big voice and bouncy golden hair. I am expecting huge things from this talented human.  

5. GRIZZLY BEAR- ANGUS AND JULIA STONE

Angus and Julia have been around for a while. But they never fail to amaze as is the case with this, melodic, sweet tune. 

6. WANDA JACKSON- FUNNEL OF LOVE

Wanda Jackson is a rock and roll hall of famer and a pioneer of the Rockabilly movement. This song explains why.

7.  TAME IMPALA - DISCIPLES 

Perth based Tame Impala have delivered an amalgam of bangers. This song off their latest album is short but extremely sweet and one of our favourite songs to drive to. 

8. ALABAMA SHAKES - DON'T WANNA FIGHT NO MORE

Brittany Howard, front-woman for the Alabama Shakes seriously bares her soul in this ballad. A real thumper that is guaranteed to have you singing along. 

9. PETE RODRIGUEZ - I LIKE IT THAT 

A Puerto Rican Boogaloo Legend, 'I Like It Like That' gives off a spanish vibe that just makes you want to boogie. It also gives you an amazing travel vibe with it's foreign feel. 

10. TOM JONES - SHE'S A LADY

The original sex bomb. In this song he opts less for his playboy vibe and touches on his relationship with long time wife; Melinda Trenchard.
