Winner: Santorini, Greece

Unlike the similar-sounding movie, we certainly have an Oscar for Santorini, for showcasing multiple shades of beautiful blue – in its houses, churches, tavernas, the ocean, clothes and even trinkets!

So much beauty and diversity in one colour.

The DiCaprio Award

(For The Most Underrated Destination)

Winner: Morocco

If you’re reading this blog and till now, haven’t had plans to go to Morocco, you know the answer to why this destination bags an Oscar.

Sigh. An Oscar for not winning an Oscar.

Morgan Freeman Award

(For The Calmest Travel Experience)

Winner: Sunrise Overlooking The Table Mountain, South Africa

Ah. What a satisfying view. All it’s missing is Morgan Freeman dressed as God, with his calming commentary in the background.
