1.Marina Beach

2.Semmozhi Poonga

This beautiful garden can be captured with scorching landscape of sunset. And this park of 20 acre-land is located in the centre of the city and has around 500 types of trees. All the aromatic herbs and trees of 100 years old can be spotted here.

3.Arignar Anna Zoological park

This is the very first zoo in India, founded in 1855. Geographically spread over 510 acre-land which has nearly 170 different species of wildlife. Even, vehicles are routed inside to go and watch around to make it a perfect watch.

4.Pulicat Lake

‘Must-watch’ place in Chennai, includes this Pulicat Lake. Boat rides make it a special experience, and even fishing is allowed while boating. Rare birds such as flamingoes, pelican, kingfishers, ibis and many other birds can be found here.

5.Kapaleeshwarar Temple

This is much important historical and ancient temple in Chennai. It is believed that this temple is built in 7^th century by Pallava Kings. Especially, this is a Dravidian style of architecture and design.

6.Connemara Public Library

This  library was established in the year 1896. And has all types of reference books and majors. This is  one among the four largest libraries in India which receives all newspapers, periodicals and books published in India.

7.National Art Gallery

National Art Gallery was established in 1907. This library majorly has four sections namely Ravi Varma Painting Gallery, Tanjore Painting Gallery, Decorative Art Gallery and Indian Traditional. Perfect place for artists.
