PROGRAMMA DEL GRAN TOUR IN EGITTO DA ALESSANDRIA AD ABU SIMBEL

Duration: 13 Days & 12 nights

Day 1:  Cairo- Arrival.

Welcome to Egypt, upon your Arrival at Cairo International Airport, our Representative will welcome you and assist you through the airport formalities, then transfer to have your dinner then to your hotel, overnight at Movenpick Sphinx Hotel in Giza.

Day 2: Giza pyramids, Memphis & Saqqara. 
After your breakfast in your hotel, transfer with your guide to visit the famous pyramids of Giza, which have been considered one of the great wonders of the world, Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx,  enjoy the panorama of the pyramids, after lunch in pyramid view restaurant ( Caviar restaurant), driving through small villages, and farms, watching the farmers and their animals with a beautiful panoramic view of the date palm trees towards the oldest capital of  Egypt, Memphis, enjoy the open-air museum, driving to Saqqara which is famous by the oldest pyramid in Egypt, Saqqara step pyramid, and Imhotep museum, then transfer to your hotel, overnight in movenpick sphinx hotel in Giza.

Day 3: Alexandria.

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to Alexandria city, the largest and the main principal seaport at Mediterranean coast in Egypt, and the second largest city after Cairo, There you can visit  The Pompey pillar, the 27m height granite pillar, Roman theater  & Catacombs of Kom El- Shokafa,  (the Roman tomb), it is a blend of pharaonic and Roman art, after lunch in sea view sea food restaurant ( Athenius restaurant),  continue to visit Qaitbay’s fort (from outside), Erected in the eastern harbor, on the place where the ancient pharos ( the light house) of Alexandria stood, then pass by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, (biblioteca Alessandrina),  the most important center for learning in the ancient world, this (Alexandrian Library) is a wonderful rebirth of the famous ancient library of Alexandria, after lunch in sea view restaurant , transfer back to Cairo, overnight in Movenpick sphinx hotel in Giza.

Day 4:  Egyptian museum, citadel, Mohamed Ali mosque & Coptic Cairo.

After breakfast in your hotel, visit the Egyptian museum containing over 120000 pieces of pharaonic history, each piece is considered a masterpiece with its own story including the magnificent Tutankhamen collection, after lunch

 at Nile view restaurant( Andria restaurant) , visit the famous  Citadel of Cairo & Mohamed Ali Mosque (the Alabaster mosque), (della Cittadella),  then Proceed to Old Cairo with the oldest Coptic churches, Bin Ezra Synagogue, then visit Gameeh Amr Ibn el Aas , the oldest mosque in Egypt, at the end enjoy khan El-khalili bazzar, which dating back to the 14th Century AD, and considered the oldest oriental Bazaar in the Middle East and where you will be taken into the dawn of Islamic civilization, then back to your hotel for overnight in Movenpick sphinx hotel in Giza.

Day 5:  Cairo- Meidum – AL- Minya-Sightseeing 

After breakfast, move to Meidum, visit Hoony pyramid, visit Ehnasya el-Medina temple, arrive at AL-Minya, dinner & overnight at Nefertiti hotel in Al- Minya.

 Day 6:  Minya- bani Hassan.
Today in the morning after your breakfast, start your tour to the tombs of bani Hassan and the small temple of hatshpsut in astapl antar, dinner & overnight at Nefertiti hotel in Al- Minya.

Day 7: AL-Minya- Tell el-Amarna- Sohag :

After breakfast, Check out from the hotel moving to Tell El- Amarna, stop in Tuna El- Gabal in El- Amarna , visit the Tomb of Aknaton and the Northen & Southern tombs and the ruins of the palace of Aknaton , after lunch  transfer  to Sohag , overnight & dinner  at el Safa hotel in Sohag.

Day 8: Abydos-Dandera-luxor :

Check out from the hotel moving to Abydos temple of the king seti the first after lunch moving to Dandera temple dedicates for the goddess Hathor, drive to Luxor, and overnight in Karnak Resort in Luxor

Day 9:  East & West Bank of Luxor 

After breakfast in your hotel, starting your day tour to visit the East bank of Luxor,  Karnak temple & Luxor temple, then enjoy your lunch at ( Al Hussein restaurant), visit the Valley of the Kings including three tombs and the queen Hatshepsut’s temple, at the end visit the big statues to Memnon (colossi of Memnon), then the  Temble of Madinet Habu and Dir El -Madina Tombs,  your lunch will be at Georgina restaurant, overnight in Karnak Resort in Luxor.

Day 10:  Edfo temple & Com Omob Temple

At morning after your breakfast, drive to Edfo temple the drive to Com Ombo, upon arrival, visit the Temple of Com Ombo of Sobek and Haroeris, visit crocodile museum, then drive towards Aswan, upon arrival Aswan, enjoy your lunch in Nile view (EL- Dokka Restaurant), overnight at Helnan Hotel in Aswan.

Day 11:  Aswan

After breakfast, the Temple of the goddess Isis on Philae Island by a small Nubian motor boat, and visit Kalabsha, then visit Qubbet el-Hawwa tombs, (including camel tour from Qubbet el-Hawwa to S.Simeon Monastery), your lunch will be at Porto Sono Nubian restaurant, Dinner at Salah E-l Din restaurant, overnight at Helnan hotel in Aswan.

Day 12: Abu Simbel Temple.

Early drive for Abu Simbel to see the great temples of Ramses the 2nd, Then check in your hotel to have a lunch – Dinner at Nefertari hotel In Abu Simbel.

Day 13:  Abu Simbel – Aswan
after seeing the sun rise in the temple of Abu Simbel,  going back to the hotel get the breakfast, then moving to Aswan to the airport for your final departure to Cairo then to Italy, we hope you enjoyed your time in Egypt and  this will be your first of many visits!          See you again soon in beautiful Egypt!
