Today’s post is all about gift wrapping! I typically wrap the girls’ presents from Nic + I that they open on Christmas morning a little fancier with chunky yarns, colorful ribbons, and textural elements such as mini ornaments, clips, or mini bottle brush trees.

I wish I could wrap all of our presents like this but it does take some time and I also want to be sure we always save all of these items after they wrap and in larger settings, this can obviously be very difficult IMO, the stars of the show this year were this Nutcracker wrapping paper, the chunky yarn from Hobby Lobby, and the velvet ribbon from Anthropologie (not currently available but similar here).

The mini ornaments are from Target and Walmart and I get most of my yarn from Hobby Lobby. The star picks are from Michael’s. The black/white dot wrapping paper is from Home Goods. The wooden tags are from Chalk Designs By Me.
