I’ve shopped at the original location in the Short North but I my ears perked up once I heard they were opening their second location in Grandview.
First, I appreciate that there is a parking lot behind the shop. It really is the little things, right?! Secondly, the space is absolutely darling!
I visited a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t help but feel instantly warm and happy, surrounded by colorful children’s goodies, all nearly glowing from the abundance of natural light that was pouring through the windows of the Grandview Avenue storefront.
I really wasn’t planning on doing a post featuring Cubshrub, to be completely transparent with you. But, I couldn’t help snap some iPhone pics while shopping because I was so impressed with the space. And did you really think I was going to keep all these photos to myself? Um, definitely not.
Not surprisingly, I left with a few bags in hand, complete with the cutest large coral tassel basket, an “Explore” pennant flag, and a peach and gold flag banner, with the hopes of using these novel finds to put a few finishing touches on our playroom at home.
I already can’t wait to go back! If you can’t get into one of the shops, they have so many shoppable offerings on their website here.
