This 10-day festival in spring sees Hume come together to celebrate live music. Events are Held throughout the city at our magnificent heritage venues, wineries and cultural centres. The festival attracts visitors and locals to enjoy Community, cultural and premier artists.

Hume Carols by Candlelight – 7 December 2014
Hume Carols by Candlelight has been generating Christmas spirit and excitement for local families for many years. Christmas carols are performed on stage while families settle in on their picnic blankets, candles in hand, for an open air concert under the stars. The 2014 Carols by Candlelight event will be held at at the Broadmeadows Town Park, Pearcedale Road from 7pm – 9pm.
Craigieburn Community Festival – 28 February & 1 March 2015
A two-day community festival held every year in Craigieburn. You can enjoy free entertainment for the kids, cultural, community and professional performers on the stage, the CFA Torchlight Parade, the Craigieburn Art Show, carnival rides, food and market stalls and a spectacular fireworks display.
The Craigieburn Festival will again be held at D.S Aitken Reserve, with Saturday’s activities running from 3pm – 10pm and the Sunday from 11am – 4pm.
Multicultural Festival – March 2015
A vibrant and colourful event held in Broadmeadows that reflects the cultural diversity of Hume and provides an opportunity for the community to come together to share food, music and dance. Formally the Broadmeadows Fiesta, 2015 sees the event changing names and moving from November to March.
