Fly private at LaGuardia (LGA) to avoid bad weather delays

North of Newark and across the river, LaGuardia Airport also experiences a full range of weather. However, it sees far fewer passengers passing through its doors than Newark, thereby pushing it further down the list of airports experiencing weather delays.

When waylaid by weather at LaGuardia, you are equidistant from both Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey and White Plains Airport (HPN) in New York.  These two airports handle the majority of New York City’s private flights and can expedite much more quickly than the commercial airports when backlogs begin. Taking the 30 minute drive to either airport can save you hours of wait time in LaGuardia’s crowded terminals.
