Fly private at George Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport (IAH) to avoid bad weather delays

Like Dallas, Houston is subject to thunderstorms, however more often and more severe.

Private flights can more easily adjust their flight paths than commercial airliners to avoid these slow-moving storms which can linger for hours.  Houston also has a plethora of alternate airports available to use that can more quickly expedite your flight once the major commercial Airport backs up.  For private charters we tend to use William P Hobby Airport (HOU), which although a commercial airport handles far fewer flights than George Bush.
