Whether you're rocking around the Christmas Tree, Menorah or something else entirely this December, we hope you have a swell time. And if you're traveling during this busy season? Even better. Maybe you'd like to tell us all about it as one of our Featured Moms. If you are interested in being featured, drop a line to [email protected] and tell her about a great trip your family recently took. We appreciate the inspiration.
We'd also like to offer our congratulations to Amy Canby for winning the Backpack the Grand Canyon Interactive DVD. Adventure awaits!
Regards,

Disneyland. Sure, it's the happiest place on Earth as long as you aren't stuck in a line that lasts four hours. Read about an amazing new software called RideMax that can help you make the most of your time at the theme park.
OUR FEATURED TRAVEL SAVVY MOM:
Olivia, Max and Holly in Jerusalem, overlooking the Mount of Olives.
WHO: Holly Rosen Fink, from Larchmont, New York. Holly is not only Mom to 7-year old Olivia and 6-year-old Max, she also works as a marketing and social media consultant for a variety of companies. You can read all about it on her blog, The Culture Mom, or follow her on Twitter at @theculturemom. WHERE: Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Israel. WHY: "I had spent a lot of time in Jerusalem, both in college and when I graduated, so I felt extremely compelled to return to this city that I love so much," says Holly. A family Bat Mitzvah provided the opportunity for a great two-week trip to this culturally rich and family-friendly country. IF YOU GO: Holly says you shouldn't miss walking through Jerusalem's Old City to the Western Wall, the Chagall Windows at Hadassah hospital, Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum), the Israel Museum and the Mahne Yehunda market. Tel Aviv offers some great beaches. But Holly cautions these sights only scratch the surface of what you can do and see in Israel. "This was simply a taste of Israel," says Holly. "On our next trip, I want to spend more time in the south--we'll go to the Dead Sea and Eilat. And we'll also go further north to the Galil and Tiberius." HER DREAM TRIP: "I dream about a trip to Thailand with the kids. We are just waiting for them to get a little bit older so they can appreciate it, too." says Holly.
NEW FOR YOU:
We're bubbling over with holiday spirit this month so we're bringing you a couple of great giveaways.
1. Looking for fun, hypo-allergenic bath products for your kids? Check out My True Nature. Founder Kelly Boyd has created a fantastic line of non-toxic, natural and organic products centered around a group of cute animal friends named Bobo, Milo, Clio and Ollie. Your kids will love the big bubbles and colorful characters. You'll love the fact that the products don't irritate even the most sensitive skin. They smell good, too. We're giving away an adorable holiday set of My True Nature products exclusively to our newsletter readers this month.
2. When my kid was a baby, there was no end to the amount of destruction and mayhem he could cause. I'm sad to say we lost a lot of books during that time. Good, innocent books. You don't have to go through the same losses. You can win a set of 5 Indestructibles books, a revolutionary new type of baby book created by a Mom of triplets and instill a love of reading (without destruction) in your kids.
If you'd like to enter to win for any of these prizes, simply send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Happy Holidays." We'll pick one winner randomly by the end of the month.
