A group of 50 expats from the south of the Island had a great day out in Arico Nuevo at Tasca Zurrapa, where there was an exhibition including demonstrations of how the Guanches lived, Guanches being the original inhabitants of the Islands.
A good time was had by all, even having a typical four course meal:-

Plus lots of local wine.
Displays of the Guanche way of life was enacted by Paco and Maria who dressed in the typical clothes made of goat skin, there was a video explaining how the Guanches lived, farmed and fished to survive.
The visitors really got involved when they where shown how the Guanches made fire with sticks, some having a go themselves.
