The Villa of Los Silos is nestled in the northwest of the island of Tenerife holds a wealth of flora and fauna in the heart of the Teno massif, the luxuriant laurisilva forests contrasts with the coastal plains.

Los Silos is a very pretty little Town that is often not found. I remember. before the by-pass was built, driving through the town bumping along the cobbled main street.

The cobbled streets are still there but not so much traffic passing through the town now.

It is a lovely place to explore, there is a little Gardeners Market on a Sunday which opens from 9 am until 2 pm that sells home grown produce and wares.

The town itself has plenty of little streets and corners to explore, it is right on the coast on the way to Buenavista from Garachico.

For those of you who enjoy walking there are numerous trails in the area, information can be found on -
