Singapore, the world's only island city-state, is a travel friendly nation. It has so many travel attractions and is one of the most visited travel destination of the entire globe. Let us discuss about the oldest Hindu temple, Mari Amman Temple, in this article. 

Mari Amman Temple is located in China Town area of Singapore. It was built in 1827 CE by a Tamilian named Naraina Pillai. Later, the temple got extended and in the beginning of the 20th century CE, the tower was built.

The sanctum enshrines Mari Amman. The temple also houses the other deities such as Ram, Ganesh, Durga, Murugan and Shiva. The shrine of Draupadi along with her five husbands, Pandavas is also important shrine in this temple.
