As there are two Narasimha temples in Nanganallur, this particular temple is referred as the New Narasimha Temple. It is located in 24th Street of Thillai Ganga Nagar.

The temple is located on the first floor of the building. The presiding deity is Shanta Narasimha along with Lakshmi. He is seated under the five hood serpent, Sesha. The idol of Narasimha is very beautiful and big. A small idol of Prahalad is found at his feet.

The Utsav Idols of Vishnu along with Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi as well as the utsav idols of Lakshmi Narsimha are also located in the sanctum.

The sub-shrines of Ganesh, Dhanvantri and Sudarshan with Narsimha on his back side are also located in this temple.
