A perfect day starts with a visit to ‘la Mine’, a toboggan run on rails. This attraction offered a breathtaking 1 kilometre ride through the mountain landscape, full of bends and height differences. The adrenaline was pumping through my body as I raced through the bends, with a smile on my face. ‘La Mine’ is accessible from 5 years old and with a minimum height of 1.10m. It is a must-do for anyone visiting Les Menuires.
After ‘La Mine’ it was time to relax. Fortunately, Les Bruyères offers the ideal place to unwind: ‘La Bulle’. This wellness centre is an oasis of calm in the middle of the busy ski area. With a sauna and hot tub, surrounded by a serene atmosphere and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, this is a must.
The day ended with a delicious meal in one of the cosy restaurants in Les Bruyères, serving local specialities such as tartiflette and raclette. It is without a doubt a destination that sports enthusiasts will want to return to again and again.
