What to Do in Miami for 3 Days

Miami is a city filled with soft white sands, Art Deco architecture, and a thriving arts and culture scene. On your third day in the city, you can choose to explore three areas or combine them. These areas have been chosen because of their proximity to each other.

Vizcaya Mansion

Vizcaya Mansion in Miami is a fascinating museum and gardens that were once part of the estate of wealthy businessman James Deering. This estate is situated in the Coconut Grove neighborhood. The museum features a variety of exhibits that showcase the history of Miami’s wealthy community.

Vizcaya is open to the public daily from 9:30 AM until 4:30 PM. It is possible to tour the grounds for the day, but you must purchase a ticket in advance. You must wear a mask during your visit. This is a requirement in the gardens and indoor rooms, and visitors are required to wear one. You can purchase a mask at the entrance, but you cannot bring it from outside.

The Vizcaya home is filled with stories of innovation and creativity. Its unique location makes it a cultural treasure for the region. You can attend educational programs and social events that are both fun and educational. The restoration project will fully realize the potential of the property as a cultural center. The restoration will also include a green space.

The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens are a must-see when visiting Miami. They are situated in South Beach and feature over 70 rooms that emphasize the European style from the 15th to the early 19th centuries. They were listed as a National Historic Landmark in 1994 and are well worth the trip.

Biscayne National Park

If you’re planning a trip to Miami, Florida, you should consider visiting Biscayne National Park. The park has excellent attendance rates, and the park is not overcrowded. It’s also not as crowded as other popular Florida National Parks, such as the Everglades and Dry Tortugas. You should take at least a half-day trip to Biscayne to get the full experience.
