The restaurant has lined up an ensemble of heartwarming feasts from 26 April to 30 June 2022, with pre-orders and reservation for set menus opening as early as 26 April for Mother’s Day Weekend. The special menus are created for all types of gatherings, from intimate meals for 4 persons (prices start from $138++) to bigger celebratory get-togethers of 8 persons (prices start from $338++). SETS FOR 4, 6 OR 8 PAX GATHERINGS
Whichever set you opt for, your feast will begin with a complimentary serving of Mini Peppercorn Abalone & Japanese Cucumber 椒麻鲍鱼仔拌日本青瓜. The succulent abalones, fresh & crunchy Japanese cucumbers, and slight tingly sensation from the aromatic peppercorns paired with a savoury sauce make this dish the perfect appetiser.
Each menu comes with a choice of two options for each course.
Warm the stomach with soups like Braised Crab Meat & Fish Maw Soup红烧蟹肉鱼鳔羹, cooked with generous lashings of crab meat and fish maw or Premium Collagen Wonton Soup菜肉云吞美颜汤 that nurtures health and beauty with each spoonful. Each is slow cooked for hours for full flavour of seafood and ingredients within.
Ease into delectable sides and choose between options such as Braised Duck Confit with Sea Cucumber & Fish Maw 红烧海参鱼鳔扒鸭腿, or Curry Prawn Yam Ring with Lily Bulb鲜百合爆咖喱虾脆芋圈. Other options include Homemade Tofu with Conpoy and Mushroom 瑶柱菇丝扒自制豆腐, or Pork Ribs in Chef’s Special Sauce秘制酱排骨.
A Taste of Warmth and A Taste of Joy (6 & 8 Pax Set) features enticing mains such as two crisp-fried prawn options; Crisp-fried Prawn in Salt & Pepper with Pork Floss椒盐肉松脆虾球, or Crisp-fried Cereal Prawn香脆麦片虾, and two steamed Threadfin options; Steamed Threadfin with Homemade ‘Chai Poh’ 自制菜浦蒸午鱼件, or Steamed Threadfin with Homemade Chilli Sauce 自制蒜茸辣椒蒸午鱼件.
All sets are headlined by the signature White Beehoon that made White Restaurant so renowned, dressed up with festive deluxe additions for the occasion. The Scallop White Beehoon 扇贝白米粉 laces the broth with incomparable clean crisp sweetness of scallops, while the Abalone & Scallop White Beehoon 鲍鱼扇贝白米粉 adds a couple of whole abalones and scallops to the rich flavours of White Beehoon for extra sweetness of the sea.
Wrap things up on a sweet note with a quintessential Chinese dessert like the Red Bean Snow Pancake 雪花豆沙窝饼 where crispy, golden crepe envelopes a sheet of warm velvety red bean, Wild Honey Black Sesame Paste with Walnut 野生蜂蜜核桃芝麻糊 or Signature Yam Paste 招牌白果芋泥.
