Chapaq Bafi | You can only find it in Kermanshah
This art is for the natives of Kermanshah and you can’t find it in other parts of the country. Chapaq bafi products are made using straw. As you know, the nomads live in tents and they decorate the walls of the tents with hollow nails. In the local language, these nails are called “chapagh“.
Artists create beautiful objects using several reeds and thread passing between them. The color of the yarns in the weaving causes the formation of different designs and patterns. Mowji bafi workshops are mostly located in the cities of Oramant, Javanrood, Islamabad Gharb and Gilan Gharb. By visiting the local bazaars of Kermanshah, you can buy these products.

Many people still use giwa as a daily shoe. This shoe is one of the souvenirs of Kermanshah that you can find in abundance in this city.
