Can I hire a luxury / premium car aged 25 or under?
It can often be very difficult when trying to Hire a premium or luxury vehicle if you are under 30, whether for a special occasion such as a wedding, or simply as a personal treat. We have arranged a deal to make this significantly easier, even allowing drivers as young as 23 to rent.
Premium vehicles are generally split into two groups between the smaller cars and the larger, more prestigious vehicles with different terms for each group. This is broken down below for you, so you know exactly what you are eligible to rent.
Smaller Premiums – E.g. Mercedes A Class / BMW 1 Series / Audi A3 for under 30’s

- Can be rented from the age of just 23, with a young driver fee for driver’s aged 23-24, and only 1 years’ experience required on the licence.
- Only need a debit card plus 2 proofs of address (e.g. bank statement / passport / utility bill) for payment and ID, in addition to the licence.
- Only a small £300 deposit would be held on the card for the hire, released back on returning the car, can even be lowered to £200 in some circumstances.
Larger Premiums – E.g. Mercedes C and E Class / BMW 3 and 5 Series for under 30’s
- Can be rented from the age of 25 onwards, with no young driver fee, and still just 1 years’ experience required on the licence. Luxury Car Hire for under 30’s is possible with Indigo!
- A credit card would be required to rent these groups, plus the 2 proofs of address and the licence of course.
- A £500 deposit would be held on the card for the hire, can also be lowered to £200 if the driver is also over 30.
