One of the world’s greatest road trips, the Garden Route is something I strongly recommend that you try and fit into any South Africa itinerary. It can be a little overwhelming to plan as there is SO much to do here and countless tweaks you can make to suit your preferences and style of travel. Having done this trip twice myself now and learnt lots from it, I have finally put together my recommended 5 day Garden Route itinerary, with lots of variations to customise to your preferences.
