Enjoying Festivals in Dominican Republic gives us the opportunity to be with both tourists and local Dominican people. When you have the opportunity to experience Dominican Festivals first hand in this way, it will show you that we all really do share similar interests.

The festivals that are available in Dominican Republic are always open to tourists, in fact tourists are welcomed. It’s nice to see people from other countries being a part of the culture and country. It shows that we have more similarities than differences, knowing this brings people together. Being part of the audience is a great way to experience the fun side of Dominican Culture.

We’ll add and continuously update different festivals that are available, so check back on our site often. We’ll also add a separate page for each festival with more information and any related updates.

Carnaval Dominicano celebrates with both Festivals and Parades and that includes all the towns in the province of Puerto Plata.

Likely the most popular festivals that tourists are aware of is the ‘Carnaval Dominicano’ (Dominican Carnival), aside from this festival most tourists are not familiar with many other festivals that take place in Dominican during the year, so we aim to add all the festivals and update this list as needed.
