It Ends with Us is unquestionably the boldest, most profound, and most painful series Colleen Hoover has written so far. As Colleen herself explained during an interview, it narrates a story that was inspired by her own mother, and one she felt really determined to write. If we had to name one topic that the first book of the series is really about, it’s abuse.
