The Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), an archipelago country located in the South Atlantic Ocean, are one of the most popular tourism destinations in South American geography. 1. Sea Lion Island
Sea Lion Island was designated a National Nature Reserve in 2017. Located 14 kilometres east of East Falkland, this island is one of the breeding and habitat of marine mammals such as sea lions and elephant seals. The island is also home to numerous species of birds and plants.
2. Christ Church Cathedral
Christ Church Cathedral is located in the city of Stanley, the capital of the country. This historic church, which also has a picture on paper coins in the country, was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield. Built between 1890 and 1892, this house of worship also features a whale belt monument made from a blue whale jaw to commemorate the centenary of British rule in the country.
3. Falkland Islands Museum and National Trust
The Falkland Islands Museum and National Trust is a museum established to promote conservation and conservation awareness of the region's history and heritage for future generations. 4. Gypsy Cove

5. Sapper Hill Memorial
Having a strategic value due to its proximity to the capital, Sapper Hill was of considerable importance during the Falklands War. The Sapper Hill Memorial in East Falkland also commemorates the nine soldiers who died in June 1982.
