Niku Steakhouse, San Francisco Review

Why did we dine here? – Niku Steakhouse is a high end Steakhouse focuses on high quality meats including expensive A5 Wagyu from Japan. They have a high end butcher shop next door. The folks running this restaurant are serious enough to get A5 tatoos! Executive Chef Steve Brown and the team from Omakase Restaurant Group (Omakase, Udon Time, Dumpling Time) has created a unique experience. Niku has an in-house butcher, Guy Crims, who also oversees the nose-to-tail butcher program at The Butcher Shop by Niku. We came for some high end meat gluttony. Cuisine – Steakhouse, Japanese Location – Design District Opened – 2019 Service – Niku Steakhouse had very good service that faded as the place filled up. They are clearly trying to set a high bar.
