Why did we dine here? – GT Fish and Oyster is a seafood restaurant in Chicago’s River North area. We were looking for an informal spot on our Chicago trip and their menu looked good. Bib Gourmand rating on the Michelin Guide. Insider Tip – It was easier to walk in than to score an online reservations. Cuisine – Seafood Location – Chicago River North Opened – 2012 Service – GT Fish and Oyster had very good service with a knowledgeable waitress who helped us navigate the menu and keep pacing in order. No worries about water and the like here. Verdict – GT Fish and Oyster is not cheap, but a great bet for seafood fans. Is this restaurant worth a 5 minute drive? Yes. 30 minute? Maybe. 1 Hour? No. GT Fish and Oyster Signature Dishes – Raw seafood GT Fish and Oyster’s Menu is pretty wide ranging with lots of shared starters, raw seafood items, and a good selection of cooked entrees.
