It’s been a while since we changed up the inside, and well, to be honest it hasn’t changed much, just a Bigger Bed, some new bedding, additional storage and a black out curtain for the front.
While many would say why the changes, we would reply with why not? We needed a bigger bed, 2 people on a twin just wasn’t cutting it, we felt like sardines in a tin can so the transformation and our sleep patterns have gotten much better.
Storage? Yep, storage, we used felt type baskets with handles we found at Marshalls/Home Goods, strung a bungie cord through the handles and hung them like ducks in a row, making the bungie hooks attach to a screw we placed at each end. It works! We use these baskets for plastic jars of medicinal herbs like Calendula and Comfrey Leaf as well as my essential oils are neatly tucked inside and the bigger Basket we have our socks and undies tucked inside and they work perfectly without a worry of things falling out all over the place.
We also purchased some Peg Board type stuff at IKEA here in Texas and they are made for a bunch of other things to attach to it, I personally have 3 small fabric hook baskets and 3 small bins attached to it at the moment, where I hide my journal, books and other fun stuff in there without leaving a mess somewhere else. FYI: These wer placed in the back windows where my better half, used plywood painted the blue in our bedding which allow us to attached the peg board stuff to it. *See pic #2
Ok so here are a few pics of the transformation which I love, remember sometimes change is good and so is extra storage.
Never underestimate the power of change…. unknown
