Bonny and Read have their fish flown in quickly from the coast so that they guarantee their seafood is fresh and delicious, along with all their other ingredients. The restaurant also serves prime rib and lamb chops if you’re looking for something different.

Brakeman’s Burgers is open for lunch and dinner.

Chianti Ristorante

When you’re searching for an Italian restaurant on a Friday night that has just about every taste of Italy that you can imagine, then Chianti Ristorante comes highly recommended. Every dish that they serve is savory and delicious, while the servers and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant is actually in the Denver area but is still worth the drive if you’re visiting Colorado Springs.

Four By Brother Luck

Four By Brother Luck is an elegant dining experience that puts a menu together that has four courses that are beautifully arranged on your plate. Chef Brother Luck can boast that he only uses the freshest ingredients from the people he works with, whether it’s hunters, fisherman, farmers, or gatherers. Be sure to call ahead for reservations for this enjoyable dining opportunity that you won’t want to miss.

Jose Muldoon’s

Located in downtown Colorado Springs, Jose Muldoon’s is an authentic Mexican restaurant that has been there ever since 1974. In other words, they must be doing something right. Indeed they are. Their food is not only delicious, but the staff is awesome as well. Jose Muldoon’s also has a brunch menu from 11 am to 2 pm every Sunday.

At MacKenzie’s Chop Shop, they present you with an elegant dining atmosphere, yet it’s comfortably casual at the same time. They serve all different cuts of steak, pasta, burgers, chicken sandwiches, soups, and salads. There’s also hand-crafted cocktails, draft and craft beers, and their extensive wine menu.

Paninos Westside

For over 40 years, the Paninos Italian restaurant has been serving their famous Panino sandwich, baked pizzas, delicious pasta, salads, and more. A few others include calzones, wings, and nachos in their appetizer section.

Whichever location in Colorado Springs you decide to visit, you are guaranteed nothing but the freshest ingredients. They also provide delivery and pick-up services as well. Be sure to come hungry and rest assured that you’ll leave full and plenty happy.

When your family is in the mood for a delicious made-from-scratch pizza, then the Pizzeria Rustica is where to stop in. All of their wood-fired pizzas have fresh and tasty toppings on them, and every single one of their antipasti is also superb. Be sure to finish up your meal with one of their creamy gelatos or sorbets.

Rudy’s

Okay, this may not really be one of the best restaurants in Colorado Springs. But it is the one that we always make sure to stop at when on the area. As former Texans, a couple of whom just love barbecue we love this Texas BBQ in a gas station. It is good and brings back memories of home. Plus, your dog can hang out on the patio with you.

The Bench

At The Bench, you’ll come across a great place to eat and drink until you’re merry. They have a great selection of burgers, sandwiches, wings, and salads, including their beer and cocktail menu. The Bench also offers a popular brunch option on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Rabbit Hole

The Rabbit Hole boasts that they’re Colorado Springs’ best-kept secret, so it must be worth looking into, right? It’s an American cuisine that’s more on the upscale, yet each dish offers you something unique and satisfying. Be sure to make your dinner reservation before you visit, especially if you have a party of 4 or more. The restaurant is open from 4 pm to 11 pm daily.

Urban Egg

One of the best places to grab breakfast or brunch in Colorado Springs would have to be the Urban Egg. This sit-down restaurant has eggs benedict, stuffed french toast, syrup-covered pancakes, blueberry streusel, gourmet sandwiches, and many other great breakfast options on their menu. The service is exceptional and your kids will love eating there.

Sand volleyball at Whitewater Grill in Royal Gorge.

Whitewater Bar & Grill

This restaurant is actually in the Royal Gorge area, one of our favorite day trips from Colorado Springs. The food is good here. But what we really loved was the overall experience. The patio is relaxing. There are a ton of games from a sand volleyball court to axe throwing and even a little park for the kids. Dogs are welcome and you can even order a special dish for your pup.

Insider Tip: Be sure to check out whitewater rafting in Royal Gorge of the Arkansas while in the area!
