EastEnders’ Lacey Turner Devastated At Beloved Dog’s Death

Lacey Turner has been left devastated by the death of her beloved dog Dexter.

The EastEnders actress posted on Instagram stories about the heartbreaking loss just months after losing her other pup.

New mum Lacey paid tribute to the pooch with a series of posts.

She said in an emotional message: “My handsome boy!!

“I cannot believe I’m writing this, I am heartbroken but so grateful that I got the pleasure of loving you for 11 whole years, you really were the bestest friend a girl could’ve asked for!”

Adding a picture of Dexter next to her daughter Dusty, she added: “The most loyal and kindest dog I ever knew, a gentle giant, a true gentleman, the best fur brother even if only for a short time.

“I will tell her how much you loved to lay next to her.

“My gorgeous boy I miss you so much already, your cuddles were like no other, if I could hold you forever I would!

“My little family won’t be the same without you.”

In April Lacey was left heartbroken by the death of her other dog Reggie.

The actress is currently on maternity leave from the soap after welcoming daughter Dusty last month with husband Matt Kay.

Lacey, 31, opened up about motherhood in a chat with OK! Magazine.

The actress, who plays Stacey Fowler in the soap, told the publication: “Dusty’s our little miracle – we call her Special Kay!”

Speaking about the little girl’s name, Lacey added: “It wasn’t on our original list but we did an internet search for ‘pretty girls’ names’ and we both said it at the same time!

“Her middle name is Violet, which I also love. We’ve had mixed reactions, people either think it’s really cool or they don’t really know what to say!”

Matt said he was “over the moon” that they welcomed a daughter.
