17 Top Things To Do In Uluwatu Bali 2019

{And The Entire Bukit Peninsula}

Uluwatu Bali is a town of the Bukit Peninsula, the most southern part of Bali.

Spending days at the Beach is one of the top things to do in Uluwatu as this is where you will find the most exquisite and cleanest beaches in all of Bali.

Uluwatu is also tremendously popular among surfers, as the biggest and best waves are found in southern Bali.

Abundant with beaches, restaurants, and beach clubs, finding things to do in Uluwatu will not be a problem during your Bali backpacking trip, whether you’re staying in the Bukit Peninsula or just coming for a day trip.

Uluwatu Temple

It’s no surprise that we’re starting this list of top things to do in Uluwatu Bali with Uluwatu Temple.

The thing that makes this cultural temple experience from the rest is the view from the cliff where the temple resides.

Uluwatu cliff offers an astonishing view that you must experience for yourself.

The Uluwatu Temple entrance fee is IDR 30,000 for adults and IDR 20,000 for children.

Tegal Wangi Beach

Tegal Wangi Beach is one of the quieter beaches in Uluwatu, and also one of the prettiest.

It’s not a huge stretch of sand, but this isn’t a problem when you’re only one of few people on the beach!

I don’t know how there aren’t more people here because it’s gorgeous.

I can’t think of many better ways to spend a hot sunny day in Bali.

I wouldn’t miss this stunning Uluwatu Beach if I were you!

This dreamlike beach isn’t as well known to travelers, so if you’re looking for a quiet and almost private beach experience, get yourself to Thomas Beach!

The only thing to remember is not to go if it’s really windy, because it will take being blown away to another level.

Otherwise known as Blue Point Beach. Suluban Beach is hands down one of the most unique beaches not just in Uluwatu, but in the entire world.

This dreamy destination is located through a massive cave that you must enter to get to the beach!

Suluban Beach is the perfect destination to cool off, and one of the best Uluwatu surf spots!

Nyang Nyang Beach is yet another popular Uluwatu surf spot among travelers.

Even if you’re not into surfing like that, it’s still the perfect place to get your tan on!

And yes, the sand is white and the waters are beautifully blue just like all the other lovely Uluwatu beaches mentioned in this blog!

Bukit Beach Club Bar Crawl

For something completely different and a little bit of fun, get lit with your friends at the Bukit Beach Club Bar Crawl!

This is a daytime pub-crawl that lasts literally all day for about 8-10 hours, so pace yourself as you please.

You’ll be picked up from your hotel at 11am with a private car and guide, and start going from bar to bar. You’ll be stopping for lunch during the day and finish up at Sunday’s Beach Club.

It’s probably one of the more chilled out bar crawls than you’re used to, but it’s also a cool way to see all of Uluwatu’s best bars in one day.

If you haven’t heard of the Edge Bali, it’s a stunning luxury villa resort and they have an insane infinity pool that offers a killer view.

Entrance costs about IDR 400,000 for adults (IDR 350,000 credit for food) and IDR 150,000 for children under 12 (IDR 100,000 credit for food).

A day at The Edge Bali is the perfect thing to do in Uluwatu when you just want a lazy day by the pool.

Omnia Beach Club

Probably the most boujee beach club we found in Bali.

Equipped with a huge pool, swim up bar, and incredible view there’s not much else you need from this Uluwatu beach club.

The drinks are a little on the expensive side of the scale, however the experience at Omnia Beach Club might make up for it.

Single Fin Club is undoubtedly Uluwatu’s most iconic spot for a Sunday session.

It's the number one spot to dance and drink on a Sunday night.

Single Fin isn’t just limited to Sunday’s though; it’s generally just the perfect spot to grab yourself some food or a beer and chill out, but Sunday's is when people get lit at Single Fin.

One of the top things to do in Uluwatu at night is to head down to Sunday’s Beach Club for a perfect sunset experience.

Again, don’t think you can only go here on a Sunday, because every day is a Sunday at this beach club.

Daily at sunset, Sunday’s Beach Club starts a bonfire where you can toast some marshmallows and vibe out on a comfy beanbag on the sand.

After a long day out in the sun, this sounds like the perfect way to end the day!
