Finland is probably not the very first country you think of when you hear the phrase “summer vacation in Europe.”  However, this welcoming, ecologically clean and diverse country is an underrated vacation destination, and I hope to help change that.  There is no shortage of places to Visit in Finland, wherever your interests lay.  From the extensive national parks above and below the arctic circle (Lapland) to the thriving metropolis of Helsinki.  From 20,000 (yes, twenty thousand – not a typo) little Finland islands perfect for a relaxing getaway, there really is no shortage of things to do in Finland. I wanted to write an itinerary that covered this expansive country in one week and so I gave myself the challenge of visiting some of the best places to visit in Finland in just 7 days.  You may choose to go slower and skip some of the locations.  Depending on your preferences you might even choose to only stay in one or two locations, for instance, Helsinki and the Islands or Helsinki and the Lapland.
