Pin Trading – October 2017
Every year, in October, there is a Disney custom in place- The Disney Pin Trading. It is an interesting way of collecting and trading Disney pin collections. Park guests’ get to meet cast members in the Center Street Boutique and here they get an opportunity to trade their pins during the magical moment of pin trading, for a special edition Mickey pin that is kept hidden.
Halloween celebrations – September 21 to October 31 2017
October is officially the month of the spooky festival, Halloween. Hong Kong Disneyland is celebrating Halloween in a big way! So come prepared to take part in a wicked, exciting Halloween party here. All that you are expected to do is come dressed up as a famous friendly or villainous Disney cartoon character. This time, it is the villains who are the highlight of the celebration!
There are some frightening and terrifying events just put together for the Halloween party. There’s the Maze of Madness, the Villains Night Out, a pleasant Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party, and not to miss, Disney Trick or Treat.
November 2017 to January 2018
As is practice, the holiday season is welcomed in a big way during the months of November to January. The Hong Kong Disneyland has many celebrations and events planned to spread the joy and happiness of Christmas.
The Park is transformed to showcase the magical effects of Christmas and if you are here during this time, you will feel like you are in a fairyland. You will find the perfect Christmas setting with lights, festivities, snowfall, and Christmas trees everywhere. And even Mickey and Minnie and other famous Disney cartoon characters will be dressed for this occasion.
January 2018
The Chinese New Year is celebrated during February. The New Year heralds happy events, luck, and prosperity. And to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the months of January and February are dedicated to this in Hong Kong Disneyland.
As part of this, you can take pictures and get autographs from Disney character who will be wearing special costumes. There is a nice Chinese food festival organized in the Park and you also get a nice gift because it’s Chinese New Year celebrations.

Halloween Special – October 31 2017 – From 8:30pm to 1:00am
If you are visiting the Paris Disneyland and want to take part in the Terrific + Terrifying chilling Halloween festival, then you should just do so!
The many Disney villains will be performing just so they can send shivers down your spine and give you as much goose bumps and thrills as possible. Basically, it is a night you will remember for a long, long time to come!
If you want to knowingly experience some scary, frightening fun, think of Halloween in Disneyland Paris.
November 2017
Disney’s magical fireworks and bonfire happens every alternate day on November 6th, 8th and 10th 2017. The beautiful fireworks happen beside Lake Disney and are accompanied by some nice music too.
November 2017 – January 2018
The Paris Disneyland magic celebrating Christmas and the holiday season starts November 2017 and goes on till January 2018. The celebrations include loads of festivities, fun, and celebrations. The place looks so beautiful and mesmerizing. The special icing on the cake is the Disney Christmas Parade that is themed around Christmas.
Added to it are the 25th Anniversary special events too. In all, visiting the Disneyland Paris during this time will be extra special!
New Year’s Eve – December 31 2017
This year, do something different. Ring in the New Year at the Disneyland Paris. It will be absolutely magical with special events, parades, and fireworks. It will be a Disney party that you will remember all your life. And this is a party that both kids and adults can take part in and enjoy!
Just remember, that there are separate tickets to be bought for this event.

The spooky, scary festival Halloween finds its origins in America. So a big Halloween party will most definitely be part of the special events in any Disney Park in the US.
As part of this the Halloween themed special events and festivities, you can go on a 2-hour historical walking tour of the Park in Disneyland. As part of this tour, a lot of spooky stories of spirits and ghosts will be shared and you will feel the chills going down your spine! And the tour ends in the Haunted Mansion where some thrills are awaiting you! Just so you can get the best frightening fun there is!
Some of the special highlights of Halloween include:
The Frightfully Fun Parade that takes place on Main Street, U.S.A. features the Headless Horeseman Ride.
Trick or treat counters offering healthy sweets and chocolates.
Interact and take pictures and meet the many Disney villain characters.
A strange, yet fantastic fireworks celebration, the Halloween Screams is presented during Mickey’s Halloween Party and procession.

Halloween Party – October 31 2017
The “Halloween Pop’n LIVE” parade with music, costumes and more are guaranteed to offer guests some nice spooky entertainment. And the whole setting is very scarily Halloween!
In the Park’s Mediterranean Harbor side, there’s a special Halloween party hosted by the villain characters of Disney movies. You can attend the party, but the catch is, you have to wear costumes.
And during the event you can meet, Mickie, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and more.
Between the months of September 2nd 2017 to January 3rd 2018, there’s a special show happening- The Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare.”
November 2017 – December 2018
The special event, “Christmas Fantasy,” is a Disney-themed Christmas parade. It is based on the many storybooks that feature Disney Friends’ and the fun they have especially during Christmas.
Every night, excepting November 17th and December 1st 2017, the skies will be lit with great fireworks in typical Christmas colours of blue, red, green, gold, and silver. And the fireworks are uniquely designed in the shape of Christmas bells and stars and are accompanied by Christmas music.
There’s a huge 15 meter Christmas tree that is decorated and placed in the centre of the Mediterranean Harbor and it is decorated and illuminated in a very Christmas-style.
This year, the theme is snow-based and all Disney cartoon characters will be dressed in typical Christmas costumes. And this time, there’s a new character in the show – Stella Lou.
