Everest Base Camp Trek lies in Khumbu Region of Nepal. It is in the eastern part of Nepal with highest peak in the world called Mount Everest. Everest is known as head of the world. Alos it has Himalayan national park called Sagarmatha National Park which covered all Everest Region and now it is as a world heritage site with historical world record and preserved by Nepal Government.
Many kinds of wild animal, green forest and unspoiled cultural villages are its main attractions. Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Ri Himalaya also very popular and good trekking trail. Trekkers do trekking either Gokyo Lake or Everest Base Camp, because these have attractive Himalayan views and Lake in the lap of High Himalayas. Most of the trekkers like to do Everest base camp trek and Gokyo Lake Trek which interconnected by Chola Pass which is higher than 4800 meters high.
Every mountaineer would like to reach the top of the world and trekker would like to walk on the glacier of Everest base camp and hike to Kalapathar to see the nice view of Mount Everest, one can see whole part of Everest with close eyes view. There are other great Himalayas more than 8000 meters high connecting with Mount Everest. Mount Lhotse, Nuptse Himal, Gaurishanker and other long ranges of Himalayas can be seen in the trekking to Everest Base Camp. It has other important attraction is Sherpa Himalayan native culture, tradition and their lifestyle. Many Buddhist monasteries and Monks also another popular attraction in this area. One can see the green natural forest, Sherpa villages, schools and hill station.
