Hong Kong is the very first country outside Philippines I've been to. And because it is Jeric's birth day, our very first travel buddy, I want to look back to this fun trip 7 years ago. :)
Nic, Arlene and I flew via Philippine Airlines. If I remember correctly, we got a 50% from our Miles so we just paid 5K for the taxes. At the airport, we met Monet and Jeric and then rode a bus to our hotel.

Here are some of the places we visited, in no particular order, because I really can't remember our itinerary.
At 2008, the in-thing is... High School Musical! :))
Of course, we can't leave Hong Kong without a photo with Arlene's favorite Pooh Bear, a tea cup ride, It's a Small World, a photo with Sleeping Beauty's castle and the fireworks!
I really can't remember all the details but I do remember we booked a crappy hotel just so we could adjust our budget to stay in Disneyland Hotel and dine at Chef Mickey's! Haha.
Worth it? YES! More hidden Mickey's!
It's true that you find true friends when you can travel with them. This trip started lots of our trips together, it's just sad (sort of) that I wasn't able to blog about them. But we were having so much fun, we didn't have time to put it online! :)

The Peak
We have better pictures, promise. But I can't find them so these will do. :)
The Peak, also known as Victoria Peak, is the highest point of Hong Kong and provides a scenic view of city. To get there, we rode The Peak Tram which is an attraction itself. It has a gallery / museum showcasing the history of Hong Kong and how the peak and the tram took part of it. From there I learned that before the tram, people used to carry people up to reach The Peak.
Hong Kong Disneyland
What would be a trip in Hong Kong without a visit to Disneyland, right? I remember we had so much fun playing Hidden Mickey!Of course we watched the parade! And it's so fun when Filipino cast comes to us to shake our hands and say Hi. :)

It was actually a two-day pass for us so on the next day we went to Adventureland and watched some shows. It's a good thing to buy those two-day passes if you want to visit all attractions in Disneyland. One day may not be enough.
