Northstar California is undoubtedly one of the most family-friendly ski resorts not only in Lake Tahoe, but also across the nation. Guests enjoy a quaint, pedestrian-friendly alpine

Throughout Winter 2019-2020 there are noteworthy changes happening:

Celebrity Chef, Michael Mina, is opening ‘Bourbon Pub’, adding to the collection of wonderful eateries throughout The Village. This “125-seat restaurant will showcase a selection of dishes described as ‘elevated pub-inspired food’ – with menu items such as avocado hummus, a truffle Caesar salad, ‘General Tso’ chicken wings, cauliflower ‘steak’ and spicy Korean Wagyu tacos.” Apres skiers can indulge in craft cocktails, local beers and wine; click here to learn more.

In an effort to improve parking and traffic challenges, Northstar California is rolling out the following plan:

• Free parking will be available every day in the Castle Peak parking lot, the first available parking option on Northstar Drive.
• Guests seeking premium parking options closer to The Village can park at Village View for $10 Mon – Fri, $20 on weekends and holidays, Lower Village parking will be available for $20 cash Mon – Fri; $40 cash on weekends and holidays. Guests can also enjoy curbside parking with Northstar’s Platinum Valet for $60.
• Payment for a spot at the Village View parking area will be able to be made via the Passport Parking app and Passport Parking kiosks.
• Parking fees will be in effect from 5 am -3 pm, with free parking available in all lots after 3 pm

Tahoe Mountain Lodging guests staying in The Village at Northstar have one heated, underground Parking included with their stay. Families can walk to the slopes (dining, shopping, skating and more), avoiding any parking or traffic hassles. They can select from studio to four-bedroom residences, each with a kitchen (or kitchenette), fireplace, washer/dryer and ski storage, plus access hot tubs, a swimming pool, fitness centers, game room.
