Happy New Years!!! I hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Years and were able to ring it in with your loved ones. I spent New Years Eve with my husband and kids scratching off our new scratch off Travel map and discussing what our goals are for 2017.
I wanted to take a break from the International Series to give y’all a heads up of what’s to come in this New Year. I’ll be starting a new job so international travel will have to be on hold until the second half of 2017. We will still be making some Road Trips in the first half of the year as well as searching out some of the best of Florida’s and Georgia’s nature trails. Then in July we’re scheduled to travel to Spain and spend time touring the country and witnessing the, somewhat controversial, Running with the Bulls and take part of the festivities in Pamplona. From there we’ll be traveling all around Spain making stops in Madrid and Barcelona before heading out to some of the more southern cities.
Tentatively scheduled is a trip to Scotland which will be a bit of a girls trip for the family. We have not made any concrete plans as far as the cities that we’ll visit although I’m fairly certain that Edinburgh will be one we visit since I’m a giant Harry Potter fan. But I’ll keep you updated on our plans for that as I go through the scheduling and planning process.
So what will I be posting about until I go international again? I’ll be covering those road trips and how we manage with four kids and what our budgeting process looks like. We’ll talk about some of the hidden beauty that you’ll find in nature trails. I’ll take you more in depth and more step-by-step with how I plan my international trips. In fact, you’ll get to go through the entire process with me as I shop for flights, transportation, hotels, and plan our schedule out. Additionally, I’ll be doing some YouTube tutorials on packing and planning towards the middle of 2017.
