The 5 Best AirBnB Places in Greece

One of the most important steps while planning a trip anywhere, is picking a place to stay, depending on your budget, and personal preferences, as well as whether you’re traveling alone or with other people.

If, like me, you prefer airbnbs, and plan on going to Greece, then this is the post for you. I’ve compiled a list of the best places in Greece, specifically Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, and Zakynthos, all under 100 dollars a night, all accommodating at least 2 guests, and you can have these places all to yourself, as they are all fully rentable, as opposed to some options where you can only rent a private room.

Loft in Psirri (65$)

This lovely loft, located in an office building in Psirri, Athens, is a one-bedroom apartment, with 2 beds, accommodating up to 5 people, is family/kid/pet friendly, and with a great view of the Acropolis from the living room. It comes fully furnished and equipped (kitchen complete, shampoos, washer and dryer, AC…) and is accessible for wheelchairs since the building has an elevator. Psirri is located close to Plaka and Monastiraki, and filled with restaurants and coffee shops, as well as boutiques to shop in. And you can get to it by subway from Athens International Airport, and stopping at Monastiraki stations, which is only 300m away. A minimum stay is of 2 nights, and it has a 4.5 stars out of 5 and stellar reviews left by the previous guests. You can book the place here.

Trad Studio Appt - Central Athens (41$)

Another great place to stay in Athens, this apartment is located in Mets, a lovely old quiet neighbourhood, and has one bedroom, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. It accommodated up to 3 people, and is close to all the main attractions in Athens. If you’re coming to athens by airplane, then you can get to the apartment by metro from Acropolis station, and the a 6-minute walk to the studio, or by X95 bus to Syntagma station and then 12-minute walk to the studio. If you are arriving by boat however, then you can either get a cab (it should cost you 8-10 euros), or by train (green line) or metro (red line) to Acropolis station, and then a 6-minute walk to the studio. You can book the place here.

This old cave still retains its original charm, while accommodating to the needs of today’s travelers. One bedroom, one bathroom, a common place and a fully equipped kitchen, make of this cave a wonderful place to stay in while in Santorini. It is close to Fira, accommodates up to 3 people and the host is always available for all your needs. You can book the place here.

Imagine staying at a museum, surrounded by the artwork of some really talented people. This place follows this theme, carefully decorated with paintings, and giving local artists a chance to exhibit their art. It is a 2-bedroom apartment, with 4 beds, 1 bathroom, and accommodates up to 6

people. The house is surrounded by a big garden of olive and palm trees, adding further to its unique charms, and is only 3 minutes away from the main attractions of Mykonos.

The previous guests have left outstanding reviews, stating how helpful the host was, with organizing their trip around Mykonos, as well as providing important informations about getting around the city. You can book the place here.

Of course, there are more places in Greece that you can book with AirBnB, in fact, it was extremely difficult for me to narrow down the list to simply 5 places. But the places mentioned on this post offer, in my opinion, the best service for their low prices.

And if you have no idea what to do or eat when you’re in Greece, then no need to worry, because on this blog you will find immense informations about traveling around Greece. So make sure you check out the links below.

Happy traveling.
