When visiting Mallorca, Spain, you should have a list of what you want to do whilst there. It may be hard to narrow down the list as there are many activities to enjoy.
However, I am here to help you out.
Here are the 5 Best Things to Do in Mallorca.
1 - Spend days Swimming in Beaches
There are as many as 120 beaches and coves in Mallorca. Therefore, if you are visiting the city and not going to spend at least one day swimming in a white sand beach, it is like you have never been there to begin with.
All guests to the relatively small city are bound to bring their swimsuits and towels to enjoy a beach escape in Mallorca. Most of them are easily accessed by public transportation. Locals and tourists alike consider these beaches as snorkeling and scuba diving destinations.
2 - Enjoy a Dolphin-watching Tour
Most people love dolphins, and so do you (most likely). And just as many people who love dolphins appreciate the beauty of sunrise. If you find yourself in one group or the other, or in both groups, then this tour is designed for you.
Those interested in the tour wake up early in the morning and join their fellow tourists at a meeting location. From there, the tour guide takes them to Alcudia on a boat to enjoy the sunrise and the paradise scenery of the place. While doing that, one should pay attention to the dolphins playing around in the water just near the boats. Book your tour ticket here.
3 - Dance and Sing Along in a Music Concert
Like the rest of Spain, Mallorca has a lively nightlife. Tourists with a special desire to stay late at night may be interested in spending one those long nights dancing in a dance club or singing in a bar. Or, which is far more enjoyable, dancing and singing along with international DJ’s and artists who come each year to perform in Mallorca.
There are not many valuable reasons to celebrate, but Spanish people will always find an excuse to host a good concert. Therefore, keep yourself updated on events held during your visit to Mallorca. Here’s an event calendar to keep you informed.
4 - Visit the Neighboring Villages
There are many hidden spots in Mallorca, and not every tourist gets to visit them all. Most of the time, the city’s wonderful architecture and lifestyle will be enough. However, to have a better feel of the Spanish culture, you should also pay a visit to the villages next to Mallorca.
A lot of guests consider a trip to a neighboring village as a trip back in time. They get to experience a lovely and entertaining time outside of the busy of the city. They also end up having a glimpse at how life was before technology. Here is a list of towns and villages near Mallorca. Make sure to visit at least one, if not a few, before heading back home.
5 - Do Some Designer Shopping
Mallorca, and Spain in general, is a shopping paradise. You may not find what you want in flea markets or malls; still, Mallorca offers the opportunity to wear all best designed clothes out there.
There are many designer stores spread all over the streets of Mallorca. You get the joy of trying on and buying the best clothes while wandering around the city’s narrow streets and main avenues. Therefore, save a day, maybe two or even more, to walk around the city and enjoy a wonderful shopping experience.
