BocaNariz
BocaNariz is one of the best wine tasting restaurants in Santiago, Chile and it is my number 1 favorite spot. The Restaurant has its own wine cellar in the basement where it stores almost 400 different types of wine bottles. You can see the stairs that lead to the wine cellar in the corner of the dining room. These 400 bottles are exclusively made from vineyards all around Chile; so if you don’t have time during your visit to Chile to visit the country’s vineyards, BocaNariz is the place to go. You can buy the wine bottles at the restaurant or order a tasting glass of 50 cc or a normal glass of 150 cc. The restaurant also serves delicious dishes that go perfectly with the type of wine you are drinking. The menu lists out what wine goes best with what dish for you, which is super helpful!

Baco
Baco is in the centre of Providencia and a walking distance from many hotels. The restaurant has an extensive wine list as well and a variety of popular entrees. Some of its popular dishes are the cheese plate, baked brie with caramelized onions, beef tartare and lasagna. Its desserts are quite loved too; if you have a sweet tooth then I definitely recommend trying the apple tarte tartin with vanilla ice cream. One other thing that makes Baco unique is its selection of whiskeys, which make a great choice for an after-dinner drink!

Barrica 94
Barrica 94 is another restaurant on the list of “on point combo of wines and cuisines”! With a variety of wines selection, the restaurant also serves many different types of Chilean dishes for sharing. One of their popular dishes is oysters and clams served with melting cheese, called machas a la parmesana. It’s a classic Chilean seafood dish. The restaurant also has a good list of beers and cocktails! It’s definitely a top spot that you must check out.

La Liguria
Similar to BocaNariz, La Liguria’s menu also displays the wines that are the perfect accommodations for the dishes you want to order. There are thousands of options so it might take a while to flip through the menu but I can guarantee that it is definitely worth it. The restaurant displays its bottles of wines behind the bar and the shelf reaches to the very top of the ceiling. There’s even a ladder for the barmen to use to climb to the top! The place is known for its hip atmosphere and character, making it a top recommendation. There are 3 La Liguria locations – but the best location is right near the Tobalaba metro station.

W Hotel
If you are not staying at the W Hotel, you may hesitate to visit its restaurant and bar. But if you are a true wine lover, a visit to this hotel is a must because it has a wine tasting room that is absolutely phenomenal. The room contains over 6,000 different bottles of wine from well-known wineries to small local ones. There’s no place more dedicated to wine tasting as much as this one. And you only need to make a reservation 2 days in advance to book this tasting room.
