Himalayan Airlines announces Colombo Kathmandu direct flights

Himalayan Airlines has announced that they will be operating scheduled direct flights to Colombo from Kathmandu from October 1, 2016. The newly established airline will connect Nepal and Sri Lanka with direct flights after three decades. The Flight will operate three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday via A320 Airbus aircraft that has the capacity of carrying 158 passengers at a time.

The flight will leave from Kathmandu at 11:30and land at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo at 15:15 local time. The return flight will depart at 16:15 local time and will arrive Kathmandu at 20:15pm.

The tariff for one-way flight has been set NRs. 29191 while the return airfare will be NRs. 50041 as per the airline.
