I have been visiting this place for years to stuff my face with deep-fried shrimp and fish over a big hot bowl of rice.

The fish and vegetables are services big, thick and crispy. Quite literally the finest bowl I have ever had. I actually put this place on the map almost a decade ago before big-name magazines like Dancyu and Taberogu even heard of this place.

This is definitely a hot dirty hole-in-the-wall joint for guys; not a date spot. Wouldn't dare take my wife here, but you can see what I mean. May clientele here is yakuza, tired salarymen, and construction workers. A joint of joints.
