If you are going to buy a laptop for watching movies and do some other regular work. Then check this buyer’s guide before making any decision. In this buyer’s guide, I’m going to tell you all the aspects that you should check before buying a laptop for watching movie.

Screen Quality and Size- You can opt for a medium-size laptop if you are not a lover of a 15.6 inch or 17-inch laptop. But having a large display might not give you best result. Its always depends on display types whether its HD or FHD or 4k or Retina Or IPS display. When you have a tight budget than either go for HD or FHD display. If you have no budget issue then go for 4k display. In general 4k display are laptops are way costlier than HD or FHD laptop. As we know HD laptops are 1080p and FHD laptops are 1440p but 4k laptops are 2160p. Means you will see way more details and colors in 4k Display.

Processor – If your sole purpose is to watch movie then the processor might not be an essential factor. But still, if you want to run a 4k movie then there might be some slowness on your laptop due to low powered processor. To avoid these such cases, I always recommend my users go with i5 processor or if you have a budget issue then go with the latest generation i3 processor. From my point of view, if you are going to buy a laptop for watching movies as do other regular staff with little gaming then go with a 8 GB RAM, i5 Processor and a good inbuilt graphics card.

Storage – Most of the time users overlook this feature. People thoughts a good RAM and a Good processor is enough to speed up any laptop. But that is actually wrong, RAM, Processor and Storage work proportionately. If you use a laptop with high RAM and i5 or i7 processor with a HDD storage then you might got a faster laptop but I can’t experience the fastest most.
