NCS2-IVM201: Expanding Lanner’s Selection of Advanced NIC Modules with Intel Fortville Network Controller

Lanner today announced the release of the NCS2-IVM201, a NIC modular with Intel® Fortville XXV 710 and dual 25G fiber SFP28 ports. The NCS2-IVM201’s NCS2 standard is compatible with most of Lanner’s x86 network appliances and is intended for expanding these appliances’ network connectivity.

The NCS2-IVM201 leverages Intel®’s Ethernet Controller XXV710, benefitting from hardware optimizations and Intel technologies such as Intel Ethernet Flow Director and intelligent offloads for cloud and network virtualization deployment. The NCS2-IVM201 is designed for enabling 10/25GbE SFP28 connectivity, therefore meeting the needs of the next-generation agile data center by delivering high throughput, agility, flexibility and performance for both server and network virtualization.
