Fav Finds: Designer Con 2015

In a series of posts tagged as "Favorite Finds", we want to share with you some of our favorite hangouts and experiences–proof that we do get out from behind our screens. (¬‿¬)

Designer Con 2015

Before stepping inside Designer Con at the Pasadena Convention Center, there is a hint of the creativity and inspiration awaiting inside from a sticker at the crosswalk. Once inside, the air is filled with imagination and delightfulness. From artists providing live demos of their craft to limited art prints and hand-sewn furry puppets, this conference is not only great for those who want to buy something totally unique but also for those who could use the inspiration to unleash their own creativity.

This must see event occurs annually (this year it was Nov 21-22). Keep an eye for it in the Fall of 2016.

General admission was $5 for adults, free for kids under 12 years of age.

Let's go to Designer Con!

These robot illustrations by Tony Bui and Alden Viguilla really struck a nostalgic chord.

We were amazed by Leslie Levings' hand-sculpted Beastlies.

Just couldn't pass by the stares of these handcrafted puppets by Yetis and Friends.

Thanks for the Nerfect pic! Love those pug dolls!
