Change default path in command prompt

“cd” Command.

Following steps will help to setup autorun with custom directory.

Step 1: press Win + R

Step 2: Enter “regedit” in the text box. & “OK”.

Step 3: Select “HKEY_CURRENT_USER->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->Command Processor

Step 4: Right click on Command processor to create String Value. ( New->String Value )

Step 5: Change Name as “Autorun” & set value as cd /d {custom path} & click “ok

Everything looks good. Now you can open the command prompt, Default Path could be the custom path which we had setup.
