Video games are loved by everyone and by everyone I mean everyone, yeah including your grandparents! A great way to pass your time, improve your skills and now also to socialize and make new friends. Mobile gaming is catching up like a wildfire and making progress at a phenomenal rate both in term so popularity and quality, gone are the days when it was all about a black and white snake slighting all over a tiny screen. Cell phones are an integral part of one's life & so does all the apps that one installs in it making mobile gaming a rich cult of and not just a casual time killer. So today I'll take a look at some of the best games that are available on Android today. Why Android? Simple! Clash of Clans is a RPG where you get to build the strongest of villages with defenses and armies including special units called Heroes. Launched back in 2012 this game has witnessed constant and solid updates keeping its users hooked & never feels boring even after so many years. Multiplayer battles are really good and you can even socialize with your friends & clan members.

The game that caught everyone by storm including the stock market to be honest, the game was downloaded over 500 million times in the first two months of its launch itself! Launched in 2016 the game is an augmented reality UI based game where you roam around the real world catching Pokemon, battling for Gyms, and hitting up Pokestops to restock on items all with the help of your GPS so an active internet connection is a must. What more? You sure can lose weight by traversing so much everyday while reliving the old days in an attempt to personify the motto of 'Gotta Catch'am All'

With multiplayer squad vs squad matches and a fast paced solo campaign this will definitely be loved by CS:GO players.
What's Hot: Moderate game size with a comprehensive gameplay experience. Isn't too heavy on the phone hardware

A game must have for a football lover.
What's Hot: Small game size and rich list of players with a neat gameplay experience.
The Down Side: Graphics could've been a bit better with a slight increase in size

9. NOVA 3

Gameloft brings the best in the line graphics to your tablets and smartphones in form of N.O.V.A 3, an action-packed shooter for your mobile phone or tablet where you play the role of an army man who comes back to our planet just to find out that it is invaded by aliens. This is an unwelcoming sign for him, and as you would expect, this leads to a wide range of missions and intense gameplay moments that you need to overcome in order to find out the truth and save our planet. You even get to use vehicles and mounted weapons to top everything up. In short it's like a miniature version of Crysis games on PC.
What's Hot: Impeccable gameplay with distinctive features that no other FPS has to offer in the market today.
The Down Side: Controls need a little getting used to and the game might not run on every smartphone.

10. Riptide GP Series

A fast paced, spine chilling, tidal wave conquering game putting you in the role of a high profile racer who loses his reputation and ranking after getting caught & now returns back to action in a quest to be the very best once again, sounds familiar isn't it!
A once pay and forget game with no in-app purchases makes it a lucrative offering for those who like fast paced action. Racing across water bodies on a high end water scooter while performing mid air acrobatics/stunts to earn extra points is something that will get you rocking up your seat for sure. You can even go multiplayer and race against upto 8 players at once.
What's Hot: Doesn't lag even on budget level devices and the controls are quite responsive for the pace of the game.
The Down Side: Less customization options for the player and vehicles. Some upgrades can be really tough to earn especially the top ones.

11. Rockstar Games

The king of open world games is the king of the genre in mobile devices aswell. With almost all the games on PC either been ported to mobile device versions or developed exclusively from ground up Rockstar games offer much more than one can ask for when playing open world adventures. Ports include Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas while games like Max Payne Mobile, GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: China Town Wars are exclusively developed. Bully is also available where you deal with bullies and other problems being a school kid.
These games are heavily optimized for smartphones and if you have a controller than do use it to multiply the fun to a whole new level.
What's Hot: Most games are the exact replica of their PC versions so gameplay is top of the line. Support for graphics settings and controllers make it highly compatible on various devices.
The Down Side: Some game like San Andreas might not be playable on budget devices that are a bit old even on the lowest graphic settings.
