A Chinese Smartphone brand, Oppo has recently passed the Chinese Telecommunication Authority TENAA’s certification. The newly certified device was listed as ‘Oppo R9km’ which is likely to be a successor of its existing R9 smartphone or might be just another version of it. The device is also speculated to be launched with Super VOOC charging support.

Features and Specifications
The upcoming Oppo R9s smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) display. The device will run on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS equipped with a Snapdragon 652 processor by Qualcomm which was earlier used in R9 Plus. While some reports claiming that the R9s will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 625 chipset.
Coming to device’s memory, it will have a 3GB/4GB of RAM along with 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be extended with microSD cards up to 128GB. The phone will support 2G, 3G and 4G networks with a Hybrid Dual SIM slot. The smartphone will be available in Golden and Rose Red color options. Sensors on board include proximity, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, fingerprint sensor and Hall Effect. A 3,000 Li-Po non-removable battery will complete this package.
The device is expected to support Super VOOC technology for fast charging. Currently, there is a fast charging technology called ‘Quick Charge 3.0’. But the Super VOOC is expected to be much faster than the existing one. It is claimed that a 2,500mAh battery will only take 15 minutes to charge completely using Super VOOC technology.
On imaging front, the R9s smartphone is likely to offer a 13MP primary rear camera having 4128×3096 pixels with Dual-LED Flash support and it may also support 4K video recording with 2160p. The front-facing camera has a 16MP resolution for selfies and HD video calling.
