The first three digits of the serial number (S / N) indicated on the back of the monitor as well as on the packaging indicate the date of manufacture. The revision from 9to5Mac, which has been found to be error-free, begins with the numbers "702" - the "7" stands for the year 2017 and the "02" for the month of February. Caution should be exercised in the case of older batches: the faulty test object was from November 2016 (serial number: "611 ....").
